I was out for a few hours last night.(8/4-5). The moon wiped out the LM but
I was primarily trying to locate some "landmarks" (skymarks?) in the sky.
As I was working to improve my knowledge of the sky I saw a Very bright
PER.  Jupiter was still in the haze of the horizon but I thought this
meteor was just as bright if not brighter. I guess if I'm not
overestimating to much that would make it about -2 or -2.5? This was aroud
11:15 EDT (is it +5Hr  to UT?).
