(meteorobs) Draconid First Impressions From Jordan

Greetings,

  JAS has just finished the 22th astronomical camping, which was devoted
to observe the Draconids meteor shower.

  Below are the preliminary results, and the final report will be put in
our home page very soon.

  This camping was the first one that JAS used both visual and radio
observations !

   During the night of 7 October (19-01 UT) the activity was very low
for both visual and radio observations, while it was better in the next
day (8 October).

  As for the visual observations, one of our observers observed 26
Draconids meteors between 16:20-18:50 UT, after that the activity was
very low, that just very few Draconids meteors were observed until the
radiant set.

  While the radio observation was bit better. Below are the results,
using FM Yagi antenna.
