(meteorobs) Lyrids 22/23 April 1999, an abortive observation session

One of those nights, very clear so I set my alarm for about 01:45 UT to get
dark skies after moonset. Threw on layers of clothing, got record sheet/ red
lit magnifier, record sheet etc. Sat down outside under a clear starry sky
at 02:00UT which promptly clouded over after 8 minutes and no sightings. I
did see 2 lyrids though between 02.20 and 02:30 in a large gap in an
otherwise cloudy sky. One was magnitude 1 and one was magnitude 3.
With a TEff of under 20 minutes though, the results are sadly not of great
value.
