Pierre, very glad that you had your first taste of a good, dark sky! I'm sorry I
missed it... Would have been a thrill to observe meteors with you under any
conditions, but especially the ones you describe. Now I think you're ready to
appreciate the wonders of Long Key FL (or West Texas!) :)

Neat that you noticed a wake on a +4: I've only seen one or two of these ever.
(1996 Perseids and 1998 Leonids, both from the Keys, if I remember right.) BTW,
I wondered if you happened to notice any other unusual phenomena during your
session: Gegenschein or Zodiacal Band, shadows from the Summer Milky Way, any
naked-eye asterisms that you had never noticed before, etc.?
