(meteorobs) Perseid Observation 10/11
Hello Observers;
Made the following observations;
Observation site: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada N44 W63
Conditions: very slight cirrus 20%
Limiting mag: 5.0
Observation method: Visual , Counting

RADIO OBSERVATIONS

Location: Halifax, Canada (63 36'W, 44 39'N, 58 meters above sea level)
Listening Frequency: 83.25 MHz
Receiver: Icom R-10
Antenna : resonant dipole
Antenna Direction: Horizontally polarized with lobes in E-W plane, elev 0 deg
Filter : high-Q (Q at least 300) bandpass filter between antenna & receiver.
Listening Mode: AM
Recording method: listening by ear

Note: There were more deen the day before the eclipse than after, and
radio results at 83.25 MHz were so-so.
