Oh, I wish I *could* take credit for that one myself, Kim. :) But actually, the
first person to say it to ME about meteors was none other than my meteor mentor,
Norm McLeod... Norm has been observing since 1960, and he's always made it clear
to me that inexperience is actually relative: that my only responsibility is to
try to report what *I* see, as honestly as I can, regardless of what more
"experienced" observers - or the theory - might say I SHOULD see.

From your response, it sounds like you've got that attitude firmly in mind! ;>
