I made another observation of Nova Aquila on Dec 06.104 (6:30pm PST Dec 05) from San Francisco, CA using naked eye and 10x50B. Based on comparison stars 22 Aql (5.4), and nu Aql (4.9), I estimate the magnitude as 5.1 It continues to slowly fade, from the mag 4.1 peak, on Dec 03.
