Glad to know at least you tried and went out to Almonte. I simply stayed put...

As soon as I noticed the wind changing from the north-east at 11:00 
PM, I knew we were in trouble. I stayed home but was ready to take 
off anytime. Was watching WeatherNetwork with constant news to "go 
out and enjoy Geminids". I still tried as I was awake almost till 
dawn, without much sleep, watching briefly out the window every 30 
min. (Gems also my favorite).

Hopefully better luck with the Quads...
