I don't agree that withholding information is the key to advancing science. A 
short announcement should be made of a possible new shower to look for 
with all appropriate data, then posted to IMO and other sites in it's own 
category for reference and for future recognition of the person who 
announced the possible new shower if it is validated.  This can prompt 
greater interest in studies to identify where some "sporatics" come from 
and science is advanced through dissemination of information.
