(meteorobs) 1999 Leonids account
Hi all,
This is the first time I send an Email to this very active list, I will introduce myself ...
My name is Christophe, I leave in south east of France, in the Rhone valley ...
... I expect good weather for the 17-18 november night, at least like weather we had last year for
the
incredible Leonid show !
My wife and I had the possibility to see this great phenomenon an to take some photos : It's the
greatest astronomical souvenir we have, even better than the 1999 solar eclipse (yes we were lucky
in 99 !)
I manage a personnal astronomical website where you can find a few pages translated. Most of the
site is in french, but there is a 1999 Leonid page in full english version, an account of this very
special night with a few photos ...
