(meteorobs) Leonids 2000

Hi to all,

Weatherprospects for western Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, Northern France,
Germany) are very tricky.
Jacob explained to us in great detail what is going on now and what to expect.
With a lot of help from meteorologist Jacob Kuiper we are planning a very
latest minute crash expedition to clear skies.
We are planning as follows:
At 2 UT Jacob will provide us with the very latest weatherinformation.
Then we drive to a location which probably will be clear at 03:44 UT.
We will arrive at that location at about 3 UT.
We have about 20 minutes to setup our equipment.
If all is well we will be observing the Leonids from 03:20 UT.
Let us hope we will succeed!

Clear skies to all of you where-ever you are!

Casper.
