sorry about my previous post re: talking clocks. i see that Cathy beat me to it.
i get mail from this group in digest form and i jumped the gun.

but for the record - the National Federation of the Blind in Baltimore
will be able to help you with talking devices of all kinds..

and also for the record...the Perseids here were definitely more productive on
Sunday night as well. and i have to say that my presence in this village has created
an avid group of sky watchers..dot before i came here in '98 to watch the leonids for
the first time, no one was sky watching.

last sunday night, we had a group of at least 15 people, some locals, some tourists -
up by the temple of athena all gazing skywards. i thought i was finished with
instructing, but i've learned that you can take the instructor out of the classroom
but the students find you just the same!
