Dear American friends,

I send my deepest sympathy at this tragic time.

I feel safe here in Scotland, but with an Irish husband I can understand a
little of what you are going through.  The IRA bomb in Omagh killed many
friends of the family.  A tragedy like yours will touch countless people.

America is a mighty nation and you will recover.
