Dear Ed,

In my opinion, a positive aspect of the Keay's explanation is that it has
put
the problem into frame of modern science, i.e. now electrophonic meteors are
accepted into science, and scientists are ready to discuss it even in
respectable scientific journals.  But in my opinion, his explanation doesn't
work.  If it works, many electronic devices were put out of action all over
the world during the last Leonids, at least.  I argue with Keay for several
years on the item.  The nature of electrophonic sounds is still a mystery.
