(meteorobs) Meteor Hunt Of November 5/6, 2001
November 30, 2001
Greetings Meteor Enthusiasts!
This was the night of the spectacular Aura Borealis
display! Sadly, I ended my meteor hunting session,
believe it or not, at around 9:00 P.M. EST, just as it
probably brightened up the sky. Only two meteors were
seen too! Nevertheless, by a miraculous spot of
happenstance, it wasn't to be a normal night. As some
of you might have read in an earlier post to this
list, my family and I managed to not let it all slip
by and caught sight of the breathtaking light display
at roughly 10:05 P.M. EST. It was an incredible sight
with even some red visible!
