(meteorobs) Observation 13/14 Dec 2001!! WoW!



Hi!

Amazing Geminids from Spain. We were at only -8ºC (18ºF) but in 25
minutes I saw 40 meteors. There was a lot of bright ones during the
first period, in the second were fainter, but more than a 80% were in
the range -3 ... +2. The mean magnitude were 0,7 in the first period and
in the second were 2. We were all the time with LM between 6,1 and 6,3.

All the geminids were white or yellow, and only a 6% of trains. The
first calculations shows a ZHR 140, later, the activity went down, but I
wasn´t counting, but aproximately to ZHR 80, a normal ZHR or the
Geminids.
