(meteorobs) Ursids, outburst??
I observed in the city of Beijing last night. The light pollution
influenced me a little, but not seriously.
During the whole process that I was observing, I didn't feel any
difference about the Ursids. But this morning, when I listen to the tape
I made last night. I found that the Ursids seemed to increase a lot!
I read all the e-mails to our list just now, and found no high activity
was observed in America. But Hiroshi's observation in Japan suggested an
increase around 16h and 17h(UT). The increase that I observed was
possibly the same one.
I tried calculating the ZHR by the report below, and finally found it
fearful -- ZHR=268!!!
(Of course, the error margin should be also very large.)
