(meteorobs) Observation August 9/10 (KACJA)

Hi All!

The second night was very clear at the beginning. We had three
German observers with their telescopes at the camp. We had a
look at some deep sky objects and comet C/2002 (Hoenig). The
skies at that time were still good enough that I was encouraged to
carry our heavy all-sky camera from the cottage to our observing
site (about 400 meters). I was nearly dead! :)
I began to observe at 22:42 local and only 30 minutes into the
session the clouds arrived and we had to quit at 23:15 local. Some
of us persisted at the observing location for a few hours but the
skies did not clear.
During my very short session, meteor activity was very low as I
have recorded only 5 meteors.

Clear skies!
Javor
