Leonid numbers will be very high and may reach 10-30 per
minute. This is why much shorter observing periods should
be reported. Data are collected world-wide in the Inter-
national Meteor Organization. Even if your 1-minute bin
contains just a few meteors, the combination of many reports
gives meaningful results for each minute. 

For a Leonid storm observation, I suggest to report 1-minute
counts. If possible, also meteor magnitudes should be given
in terms of a magnitude distribution:

Please note that 0936-0937 means 09h36m00s - 09h37m00s. This style
of reporting is a bit different from the standard reporting form
of the IMO (www.imodot net/visual/imoform.html), but is very fine
for Leonid reporting, where we need magnitude information also in
the breakdown of the counts.

If you feel unsure about magnitude estimates, the simple counts of
Leonids and non-Leonids are also most useful. Looking forward to
