Re: (meteorobs) The ultimate stupid Leonid Question...

This year the "storm" date for the Leonids, the date observers will record
in their logs, is 18/19, monday night/tuesday morning. Actual peaks are
expected to occur on the date of the 19th in Universal Time, in the morning.
If you can, take a nap and then observe from 11:00 PM monday right until
dawn tuesday.

No one is laughing at you for having the foresight to make sure...those who
assume the 19th means the night of the 19th are the ones who'll wish they'd
have asked your question.
