(meteorobs) Quadrantids question from NW Canada
I keep reading that the peak of this year's
Quadrantids is at an unfavourable time for North America, and for sure 5 p.m.
sounds as unpromising as can be. However, living as I do at +54° north latitude,
the Sun will set before the time of the maximum, and the radiant at +49°
declination will be nicely circumpolar, being at worst 13° altitude. And
the Moon will be new. Is there any reason not to expect at least a decent
display in the evening hours?
