Hi!

Yesterday night I went out into the winter night for my first plotting=20
session. It didn't seem hard at all to me (unexpectedly), but there=20
are still some questions left:

1) Whom should the Brno maps with meteor plots be sent to? I guess=20
Juergen Rendtel is the right person for German meteor observers and=20
the adress from the IMO homepage is correct. Would it also be=20
possible to send in starting and ending coordinates of the meteors=20
only and keep the maps (so I don't have to make so many copys etc.)?

2) Would it be a bad thing if I use one map for several observations?=20
There are currently four plots on one map, should I use a new copy=20
for my next observation or is it possible to use it some more often=20
(maybe a maximum number of meteors?)?

3) Can anyone give me some advice on mesauring the angular speed of a=20
meteor? I feel quite unsure about what is meant and how it should be=20
measured. Are my plottings valueable without these data at all?

Thank you in advance

Daniel Gruen

Comments:
My first plotting session! It worked out pretty fine and was easier=20
than I expected. The only thing I don't feel confident about is=20
measuring the angular speed of a meteor. I hope my data is useful=20
without that information.
