(meteorobs) August 11/12, 2003 meteor observation from Slovenia

Last night I observed from another place close to Ljubljana. The Moon was
bright in the southern skies but I managed to "hide" it behind a hill so I
never directly saw it during my observations. That did not help much with
my limiting magnitude, though - I had it at magnitude 5.2.
There is not much of activity to report. Only 11 Perseids, one of each
Aquarid and Kappa Cygnid and 3 sporadic meteors were recorded in 2 hours
teff. No fireballs, either.
I really hope that tonight the Perseids will show some more!

Clear skies!
Javor.
