(meteorobs) Perseids?

Not from South Carolina! We have been clouded out for so long I can't
remember a full day of blue skies. Our weather pattern for several weeks now
has been partly cloudy skies during the daytime, followed by evening and
overnight thundershowers. I set aside last night and tonight for observing,
but was clouded out last night and at the moment, so will probably catch up
on some sleep. It seems though, that I am not alone in this predicament as I
have received several emails reporting similar conditions, especially along
the east coast of the U.S.

A few days ago I returned home after a 2-week trip. Prior to my leaving,
meteor reports were trickling in by some of the diehards. But while I was
away, the number of reports increased tremendously, no doubt due to the late
July complex of radiants. So in between peaks at the sky, I have been trying
to catch up on archiving some reports, and have a first summary listed
below. Due to time constraints, I decided to combine July and August
together, since many of the showers are visible during both months anyway.
There is still some archiving to be done, so if your report(s) are not
listed below, I hope to get to them over the next few days. And as always,
if anyone sees a mistake that has crept in, please let me know.

Clear skies!
