(meteorobs) Leonids from Trona Pinnacles, California
To all,
This report is a little late, but better late than
never. Robert Lunsford and I spent three days near
Trona Pinnacles in California observing the Leonids.
The first night, November 16/17 was clouded out. The
next two nights were clear; November 18/19 was clearly
better for Leonid activity.
Following are my observations made on November 17/18
and November 18/19:
Location: Trona Pinnacles, California, USA.
Latitude: 35 degrees, 46 minutes 2.636 seconds North
Longitude: 117 degrees 22 minutes 32.347 seconds West
Elevation: 506 meters
