Re: (meteorobs) Pre-Giminid Observing



Hi Peter- My Bortle No. is 3 , but  the nearby  moon of course put my  LM
below anything we have for area 4 ( Gemini) on our star charts. So given an
increase in activity - but poor LM would only expect to observe just the
higher magnitude meteors. So with the poor conditions expected on peak night
there will be fewer Geminids, and other shower members observed, but they
will be in the high magnitudes.
