(meteorobs) Ursids Obs from upstate NY

I am here in upstate NY for Xmas and tried my best to observe the Ursids maximum tonite. It was too cloudy to observe around 0100 UT, but around 11:30pm local time it cleared enough to do some serious counting. There were still some high thin clouds moving through, so the LM was reduced.

I managed to see two fainter Ursids and one SPO. So, not too bad for a short 0.3 hours Teff. The Ursids showed some activity but no bright ones.

Happy Holidays,
Mike
