(meteorobs) Great METEOR SCIENCE LEARNING site: http://skyscandot ca

This is a timely note for educators and parents, looking
to find a learning experience for their teenage kids that
lets them see how "real science" gets done - and yet also
gets them outside to enjoy the wonder of the heavens!

The RASC (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) Edmonton
Centre created a wonderful Web resource for teachers and
students, on radio meteor observing:

This project gives details on radio meteor observation
for the classroom / homeschool, and also encourages the
young observers to try VISUAL observing as well...

It's a timely message, too, as there are four separate
major showers in late April and May, which are targets
for radio meteor observation:

Clear skies, and happy Astronomy Day!
