Thanks, Murray, for that peak into the complexities of catalog research! Of
course, that's one reason why the IAAC Observing Log form encourages observers
to provide lots of descriptive info about an object: position, constellation,
size, brightness, and even star-hopping directions in the Description section!
You never know when there's going to be some confusion... Even Messier's hoary
old Catalog has its questionable characters, like M102. :)

BTW, has anyone else observed this particular patch of sky in Taurus for
nebulae? Sue, Yann, Brent, Murray, the Steves, Owen, Nick ... ?
