Re: (IAAC) limiting magnitude
Dear Mark,
I attempted to solve the riddle of your faint star but without
success. This is a very remote and unlikely guess: could you have
mistakenly substituted a drawing of M65 in your M66 link? It is odd that
three stars in the actual nebula M66 at mag. 9.7, 12.9 and 13.06 were not
included in your drawing. Also, all pictures I have seen of M66 show it
as less flattened. Just a thought. Eugene O'Connor
