Re: (IAAC) Burnham's Stars

Seperation (taken from WDS) in Skymap.

Date of last observation: 1995
Position angle: 64°
Separation: 9.8"
Magnitude of first component: 2.09
Magnitude of second component: 4.79
Spectrum: K3IIb

So even within Skymaps catalogues there remain differences, and here as you
say Lew it is plain that the Primary is indeed the K star and not as I had
assumed the B (I had not checked first! but I thought perhaps the diffrence
may have been minor hence the mix, but no way with +2 difference)
One thing for certain, it will be among the first things I look at next time
I get out!!
