Description:
The lovely little Fan Cluster was easily found among the
bright "M" stars of the Queen, as a faint haze, elongated
slightly SE-NW, with some 6 stars well resolved and 3-4
others sparkling in and out of the background. These stars,
together with the interesting shape of the background blur,
formed the famous "fan" shape when seen with averted vision.
