Description:Round galaxy with a bright central core and a stellar nucleus.
It looked just like a small comet, very uniform and tapering out into
nothingness. size was about 1/5 15 mm eyepiece field.
This was a magnificent area in the heart of the Virgo cluster, with M84
close by plus many fainter galaxies including some barely visible and some
nice elongated galaxies with brighter central cores. I am afraid this was
very much a sightseeing tour so I dont have any NGC numbers for these.
