Description:
There has been some discussion recently in S.A.A. about this object and how
visible it is under various conditions and with various instruments. So I
thought I'd revisit it. It was a bit hard for me to find, because I found its
overhead position somewhat dis-orienting. However, once I got myself oriented,
I soon found it. IOt is clearly visible as a faint, grey, fuzzy blob at 48x, at
72x it is clearer, but still only a hint of the "hole", but at 120x the "hole"
is quite distinct. With averted vision I could detect some of the structure in
the "donut" part also, similar to what you see in pictures.
