Hbeta [486nm]
RA/DE: 21h33.1m, +39=B038' (2000); Uranometria 86; corrected thanks to Guide
at 21h33m08s, +39=B038'10";

Description: at 145x, small nebulous star of about mag.11; found at that
power with UHC beeing of a slight help; fuzzier at 312x, shapeless with a
quasi-stellar nucleus much brighter; about 16" in diam.; two mag14 stars at
30"SSE and 55"W.
NOTE: this nebula looks bipolar (like M27) on intensified images
(1sec.exposure) obtained with a 24", so 10-16" scopes should visually show
this feature...

I can provide a scanned drawing of Hu 1-2 to anyone who can read the binhex
encoding of Eudora (for Mac); just mail me to try
(ypothier@abi.snv.jussieu.fr), it works sometimes with other
configurations...
