Object(s): UGC 11195 (VV 569, PGC 61699, MCG 05-43-014)
Category: Group of galaxies.
Class: interacting pair
Constellation: Lyr
Data: mag 13.92 :14.4 (observed 15.0); size 1.15x0.51; PA 114 deg
Position: 1817.9+3039
Description:
(See also the preceding log for VV 711 = MCG 5-43-13 in Hercules...)
Another target was VV 569 = UGC 11195 in Lyra, just 2o south of VV 711.
This case is quite similar to VV 711 but easier. Separation 15" (SE-NW),
14.4 mag (Zwicky). The SE comp is pretty bright, stellar. NW comp more
diffuse, oval (500x). Both around V=15.0 mag.
