Description:
Beautiful emission nebula, with a definite color (pale blue with the majority
grey, even without the broadband filter). The Trapezium easily resolved. At the
"mouth" shaped edge of the nebula, the border between the dark portions and
nebulosity were clearly defined, with good contrast. Faint "whisps" of
nebulosity at upper edge of nebula. At 32X, nicely fills the FOV. As Mike
Inglis states in "The Field Guide to the Deep Sky Objects", "Incredible!"
