Description:
Iota Ori is a very bright star and very pleasing to observe with it's
very distinctive blue tinge. Whilst observing with my 25mm eyepiece i
can't help but think that this should be noted as a cluster group. Asd
i can make out 23 stars in my FOV. I am unable to split this in my
25mm and my 10mm eyepiece. However, whilst at the eyepiece i do note a
very, very faint close star with almost no shine to it at all. This
very faint star is close to Iota i estimate mag 10 maybe even 11. I
notice that i can easily pair up other stars in the FOV especially
those on either side of Iota to the east and west.
