Description:
At 44x M80 looks like a faint smudge and there is no detail. The cluster looks perfectly circular. At 118x I can pick out a much brighter central core and quickly faiding outward. This cluster also looks grainy like with still no detail. At 178x the cluster is still heavily grainy but can pick out some individual brighter stars in the cluster using peripheral vision but is really difficult. Using a 2x Barrlow lens the cluster shows some dim stars and the brighter stars I can see almost with direct vision.
