Description:
At 44x M4 looks bright and does not look as dense as some other globular star clusters. I can see many bright individual stars and also many dim ones too. What I found interesting about this star cluster is that this star cluster shows a straight line of stars going down the center. But this is only using peripheral vision. It looks really neat at low power but at 118x I can see it with direct vision and it may look like it is curving at one end of the cluster but just a tad bit. At 178x this cluster shows even more detail but can't see increasing dim stars. It is worth seeing!
