Description:
Extremely Faint and Stellar in appearance but a vague suggestion of nebulosity
was visible with Averted Vision and it's position East of a pair of Mag 12
stars confirmed the sighting. It's listed Magnitude of 14.4 and SB of 14.5 shows to me at least that you cannot be guided by these factors alone as to
whether an object will be visible or not when you are viewing objects on the
limits of a particular instruments range.
