The Nebula NGC 1980 and Nebula complex consisting NGC 1977, 1972 and 1975
clearly visible and UHC filter enhances the nebulosity.
Iota Orionis, within NGC 1980, has an easily visible much fainter companion.
The Open cluster NGC 1981 is very loose and stands out in the area due to its
lack of nebulosity.
