(meteorobs) NAMN VISUAL SUMMARY REPORT, Apr 15/16 1997, GRALE

[
What follows is the standard meteor reporting format used by
the (mostly beginner) observers of the North American Meteor
Network. It is a little confusing at first, but takes maybe
15 minutes to fill out once you're used to it...

These are the fruits of my first successful observing session
of the season. What a pleasing RELIEF from the Winter doldrums
that followed on the Great Geminid/Quadrantid Cloudout up here!
This weekend I'll post a less prosaic account of my exciting
ONE HOUR of Spring-time meteor observing. In the mean time,
clear skies and many meteors to all! ;>

REMARKS: Seeing throughout session was Excellent (1 of 10).

Dead time of 15 seconds was deducted per recorded meteor.

Meteor #1 was noted as a possible member of the non-IMO shower the
April Ursids, based only on projection and distance. No putative
speed for the April Ursids was available for comparison.
Meteor #4 was noted as a possible Virginid on the basis of radiant
projection and distance, although speed was a poor match.
