  Below is the magnitude distribution of the 20 Quadrantids that I saw
from 08:15 to 10:15 UT at Greenbelt, Maryland on the morning of Jan. 2/3.
It looks like I was seeing the rise toward maximum, which probably was
much farther west of here, perhaps in Hawaii. I heard that Bob Lunsford
observed many more Quads than I did, which agrees with this view.
