No, when I note DCV I just note the distance, not a direction. But, I also
have the center of my field of view also noted in the overall report.

The NAMN form is written in ascii text, so Word 97 should import it. Three
pages in length does sound about right if imported into a word processor.
But what I have done is saved a blank template as an ascii text file in my
email directory. Then I filled out the header info (name, location, etc.)
and saved it. After each observation, I fill in the meteor data and change
location codes if necessary. Then, it gets emailed, with a copy to myself.
If you like, I could email you a blank form to use this way.

But I also have an Excel spreadsheet used to archive observing periods for
ALPO, AMS, IMO and NAMN. I could send you the template for it, and you could
use that format for your personal copy. Let me know, and I will send you a
copy.
