Hi All,
            I fooled myself into thinking I had found the solution to my
alignment problem, in using a fixed width font and sending it out in
both plain and HTML formats, and I did indeed receive it back through
the list in good form.
        My intent was to give the report an "at-a-glance" readability
However, due to software differences, it appears that not everyone got
it that way.  I use Netscape 4.05 with, pretty much, all the default
values.  I'm sorry it did not work out for everyone, I will consider
reformatting it and sending it back out again, using the 78-character
limit suggested by Steve.
