Re: (meteorobs) Observation Report 1/31/00...

The misaligned tables, especially the magnitude distribution tables, cause a
major problem for those who are archiving meteor reports. That is why I
recommend when reporting via email, include a zero(s) in the columns where
needed. Although, like Scott's, they may not line up correctly for
everyone's email program, the use of those zero(s) as he did insures the
person archiving the report can figure out which column goes where.

Scott, thanks for sending in your report - and it's great to hear that
you're
getting out to observe and record meteors again, in spite of the Iowa
Winter!
Your report was done perfectly, with the sole exception that tab characters
seemed to creep into your Magnitude Distribution and Limiting Magnitude
tables in place of spaces, misaligning the columns. That's really minor.
