Apologies, Malcolm: yes, "refractor" implied viewing with a 90o diagonal...

The nearest thing I have is a lower quality 25mm Ploessl: I would be loathe to
use it though, as my FOV would shrink below 2 degrees! Another possibility is
my 22mm Panoptic: this would give me 2.3 degrees effective FOV (maybe somewhat
less) at 29x. This will improve my TLM, I imagine, but won't my hourly counts
still suffer from such a significant reduction in FOV? 10 per hour was a very
comfortable rate for me - strong enough to keep me alert, yet not too much to
make the plotting a strain. (Of course, I could handle higher rates with just
a bit more experience, and using charts of the proper chirality.)

But is it infeasible for me to somehow use charts which cover a more limited
area than my actual field of view? Or might I try stopping down the field of
the 35mm further, to create an EXACT 3.2 degree FOV, for example? I hate to
give you MORE unexpected work this month by asking for new charts, Malcolm,
especially if we can manage somehow with the existing product!

Mayne one final last resort might be for me to continue using an AstroScan
(4.25" f/4.2 altaz reflector) for my plotting, with that 25mm Ploessl: less
breathtaking views through the eyepiece, surely, and a bit more of a strain
on shoulders and legs: but that *is* why I originally requested TC charts.
