Saw this posted in a debate over the downing of TWA 800 by a conspiracy
theorist...guy purports that this is evidence of previous "missle near-misses"
in the NYC area.

I immediately recognized it as a moderate fireball meteor miles overhead,  even
BEFORE the timestamp...August 12th, 1997...sunk in :-) Given the time (8:40PM)
It's presumably a low-angle grazer.

Thought this would be good for a laugh :-)
