(meteorobs) IMO METEOR SUMMARY REPORT, 11-Dec-2001, GRALE
Here is the full report from that highly unusual pre-peak Geminid session
which I described in a previous post. I've rarely seen so many Geminids
even on peak nights... It was lovely. :)

GENERAL COMMENTS ABOUT SESSION - Use as many lines as needed below this one...
Seeing throughout the night stayed a very steady 8 of 10.
Period 1 an ice haze was very apparent away from the Zenith.
By period 2, ice haze had receded and winter Milky Way was more visible.
Low temperature for the night 27oF, rel. humidity 60%, wind from W 5kts.
My new winter gear (bought for China) kept me very cozy all night!
"DCV" is Distance from Center of Vision - which in average may provide a
measure of the angular range of visual perception on a particular night.
